A mysterious woman draws Dominic Toretto into a world of crime, leading him to betray those he loves most. This betrayal puts the crew through unimaginable challenges.
Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and Letty Ortiz (Michelle Rodriguez) are enjoying their honeymoon while Brian (Paul Walker) and Mia (Jordana Brewster) have retired. The rest of the crew is living a normal life after being cleared of past charges. However, everything changes when an enigmatic woman entices Dom into a life of crime, causing him to turn against his family. They now face severe trials unlike any they’ve encountered before. From Cuba’s beaches to New York City’s streets and the frozen Barents Sea, this elite team must race around the globe to stop an anarchist from wreaking havoc and to rescue the man who united them as a family.

While Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and Letty Ortiz (Michelle Rodriguez) honeymoon in Cuba, a mysterious woman causes Dom to betray the family he has always protected. Joined by Mr. Nobody (Kurt Russell) and Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham), the team must journey from New York City to the chilly Barents Sea to bring back the man who made them a family. Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and Letty Ortiz (Michelle Rodriguez) are enjoying their honeymoon in Havana. Dom’s cousin, Fernando (Janmarco Santiago), gets into trouble with a local racer named Raldo (Celestino Cornielle) over debts. Realizing that Raldo is a loan shark, Dom decides to race him, using Fernando’s modified car against Raldo’s vehicle, while wagering his own show car. After a close victory, Dom lets Raldo keep his car to gain his respect and gives his show car to Fernando.
The next day, Dom meets the mysterious terrorist Cipher (Charlize Theron), who forces him to work for her. Soon after, Dom and his crew Letty, Roman Pearce (Tyrese Gibson), Tej Parker (Ludacris), and Ramsey (Nathalie Emmanuel) are contacted by D.S.S. Agent Luke Hobbs (Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson). They are tasked with retrieving an E.M.P. device from a military base in Berlin, Germany. However, during the escape, Dom betrays Hobbs, pushing him off the road and taking the device for Cipher. As a result, Hobbs is arrested and sent to the same high-security prison where he previously helped imprison Deckard Shaw.
