A warrior from the desert stands up against the evil forces ravaging his homeland. He seizes the enemy’s powerful sorceress and leads her deep into the desert, gearing up for a climactic battle. In the ancient land of Gomorrah, long before the Pyramids were built, the last free nomadic tribes must join together to end the cruel reign of King Memnon. In ancient Egypt, Mathayus (played by Dwayne Johnson), an Akkadian, is tasked by King Pheron (Roger Rees) to assassinate Memnon (Steven Brand) and his sorceress, Cassandra (Kelly Hu). As their journey unfolds, Mathayus realizes he needs Cassandra’s help for his perilous mission. They eventually encounter Nubian King Balthazar (Michael Clarke Duncan), who has a troubled past with the Akkadians but decides to join their fight against Memnon. Can they succeed in their quest.
