Alien Romulus movies: Explore the universe

While exploring the depths of an abandoned space station, a group of young colonists encounter a terrifying life form.

In 2142, Rain Carradine lives in the Jackson colony with her synthetic “brother” Andy, who was programmed by her father to protect her after their parents died. The Weyland-Yutani Corporation, which oversees the colony, forces the colonists to stay in Jackson by extending their contracts to miners and farmers, treating them as slaves. When Rain’s ex-boyfriend Tyler is granted a contract extension by the corporation, he convinces her to join his group, which includes her pregnant sister Kay, cousin Bjorn, and adopted sister Navarro, on a journey to an abandoned space station in hopes of escaping to the planet Yvaga.

They require Andy to communicate with the computer system and also need to retrieve cryogenic chambers for the nine-year journey to Yvaga. Upon arriving at the station, Andy and Bjorn discover that the chambers require cryogenic fuel for the trip. While working with Andy, they accidentally release alien creatures, which results in the area being locked down. Rain uses a corrupted chip from the synthetic Rook to update Andy, granting him access to all of the station’s functions; however, he becomes loyal to the Weyland-Yutani Corporation, sidelining Rain in the process. Soon, the creatures begin to attack one by one, targeting Rain’s friends. Will anyone survive the alien threat.

In 2142 on Jackson’s Star Mining Colony, brothers Rain and Andy are losing hope of escaping the ringed planet LV-410 after the Nostromo Incident depicted in Space Monsters (1979). A daring suggestion leads them to Renaissance, an abandoned Weyland-Yutani research facility, where a chilling secret poses a deadly threat to anyone who dares to reveal it. Now, 37 years before the events of Alien 2 (1986), history is about to repeat itself. As a new Xenomorph threat emerges and spirals out of control, Rain and her determined group of colonists must confront the ultimate horror and heartbreaking truth: what is the promise of freedom worth when certain death is just around the corner.
